Hyundai visits AIP

We recently welcomed representatives from Hyundai in Korea to our facility in Haldenwang. The technical exchange focused on failure injection testing at the full-vehicle level using our patented Torque Wheel Dynamometer (TWDM).

The TWDM enables the application of torque to individual wheels directly on the vehicle, thereby creating ideal conditions for realistic Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL) test scenarios. Especially for failure injection tests, defined fault conditions, loads, and boundary cases can be reproduced reliably and safely at the full-vehicle level—a decisive advantage over conventional test bench approaches.

Together with our sales partner E&S, we discussed specific use cases, system architectures, and prospects for future joint projects and validation concepts.
