This includes precise driving robots, realistic wind tunnels, a well-designed restraint system, and the innovative Quick Disengagement System (QDS) – a safety-critical addition for test benches of all vehicle classes.
The QDS enables lightning-fast, pneumatic disengagement of a vehicle in case of danger, such as a battery fire or smoke development. Within seconds, the mechanical restraint is released so that the vehicle can be evacuated from the test cell – a decisive safety advantage, especially for e-mobility tests. The system can be integrated into existing restraints such as wheel hub holders, frame points, or belt systems and is certified as a complete machine with CE conformity.
